Monthly Check-In Questions

Do you and your partner have any routines about checking in with each other? I have found having a set date to ask the same questions of you and your partner allows you both to celebrate the wins and discuss any struggles from that month. It can be an opportunity to set goals that you can both work on bringing you closer in the next month and beyond.

Here are the questions we use:

We like to alternate who answers the question first.

  1. What is something you are most proud of that we did this month as a couple?
  2. What is something you are proud of that you did this month as an individual?
  3. What is something you are most proud of that your partner did this month?
  4. Were there any times that you think could have gone better? What would have made it better?
  5. Is there anything you need help or support with?
  6. What are you looking forward to this upcoming month?
  7. Open question/make your own.

As you can see this doesn’t have to take much time but it can be enough time to reconnect and align with your significant other. It can help to clear up any misunderstandings and gives you both an opportunity to talk about what you are looking forward to.

I would love to hear about ways you and your partner connect and check-in. What questions do you use? How often do you do it? Drop me a line on social media or drop me an email at Steph@KoruLifeCoaching.com
